A quiet family farm

Havarest Farm

Local hops, fresh eggs, and honey from a family-owned, veteran-owned farm.

A quiet place to slow down, enjoy the land, and bring home something fresh from the farm.

Welcome

Good things grow slowly.

Havarest Farm is a small family-owned, veteran-owned farm where good things grow slowly. From hops raised for local craft beer to fresh eggs and golden honey, everything here is rooted in the land, the seasons, and a little extra patience.

Our Story

A small farm built around rest.

Havarest Farm was built around a simple idea: grow something meaningful, share it locally, and create a place that feels like a step away from the noise.

What started with a love for the land has grown into a farm centered around hops, fresh eggs, honey, and the people who stop by — built on hard work, the local community, and doing things the right way.

“Have a rest. Take home something fresh.”

Family & Veteran Owned

Meet Mike Smith

Owner · Havarest Farm

Havarest Farm is family-owned by Mike Smith, a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force, longtime pilot, and Captain for Frontier Airlines. After a career built on service, discipline, and adventure, Mike brought that same spirit back to the land.

When he is not flying, skiing, boating, or brewing beer, Mike is working on the farm — growing hops, tending to the land, raising chickens, producing local honey, and building Havarest into a place where people can slow down and enjoy something real.

Havarest Farm reflects who Mike is: hardworking, welcoming, independent, and grounded in family, service, and community.
